My Story

Brownie was an owner surrender to a shelter in Philadelphia due to the owner having health issues.  He has been with us about 5 days or so and beginning to settle in nicely with the routine.  We are crating him with no issues when we are not at home and he does protest some, but settled nicely after a few minutes with a bone and his blanket.  Brownie is such a super cutie, but don't let his sweet face fool you, he is all PUPPY underneath!  He is in need of a basic training class to work on his manners and a family that will be patient and understanding with his boxer puppy exuberance.  He seems to get along fine with other dogs, not too sure about cats as we don't have any.  He is very interested in playing with the other dogs, however he is a bit skittish with loud noises that they make even in play.  He would do great in a home with another dog that is confident and could show him the ropes and that he could mirror their good manners as well.  He is on the thin side so we have been feeding him 2 to 3 times per day, but he can definetly afford another 5 lbs or so.  He is a super sweet young guy who is looking for his perfect forever family.  Could that be you????
