My Story

Chanel is doing well. She had a rough few years do to an FCE. After a year and a half of intense aqua therapy, physical therapy and acupuncture she is able to walk again. She is still has extreme allergies that we manage with medication and an all natural homemade diet.

Chanel has been the best addition to our family. When our female boxer passed away there was a void and all of our hearts. Chanel's brothers were so depressed before she came all they did was eat and sleep day in and day out. I wasn't sure if they would snap out of it. Chanel put life back into both of them. Everyone that meets her says what a beautiful, gentle dog she is. Chanel listen very well and was very easy to train. She just followed what her brothers did.

Chanel loves being outside. whether she's laying in the sun or swimming in the pool, going on long walks or chasing her brothers around the yard. She enjoys playing hide and seek with her toy Yorkie brother. She also enjoys laying in the shape of a heart with her boxer brother Coco. When I take out the leashes Chanel will walk around with hers in her mouth. If I put Coco's on first she will walk around the house pulling him by his leash. Chanel is an extremely smart dog. She also loves to get her belly rubbed all the time. She is a great watchdog as well.  when the doorbell rings she will bark very loud and sit right by my leg. If someone comes on the property Chanel will come inside to let us know.

My brother also has a male boxer and Chanel loves playing with him too! At first I was not sure if she would except another dog coming onto her turf but she loves him as much as her brothers.

Chanel is doing great. She has gained a lot of weight since she has gotten here. The vet is thrilled about that. She has a great time running around the yard and playing with her two brothers. She loves swimming in the pool and laying on the sofa. She loves going in the car to the pet store to pick out a new toy every week.  She also enjoys when the groomer comes over to groom her and her brother's. We did find out she has bad allergies and has been getting treated for that and is now on an all-natural diet.

She has made our other dogs happy after they had lost their sister to cancer. She loves to cuddle in bed and gives kiss's all the time. She loves her new home and family. She was a perfect fit for us.

Peaches is a fantastic dog who loves to run & play.  She will stay out in the yard all day.  She loves to run and play with her foster brother & sisters.  She does well with other dogs and kids.  She would make a great addition to a family.  It's time for Peaches to find her forever home and make someone very happy.  So if you have everything that Peaches needs, please consider this beautiful girl and submit your application.

Peaches is a beautiful girl with lots of energy.  She and her foster sister Daisy stay out in the yard running all day.  Peaches can clear a 4' fence very easily.  She hasn't tried to jump the fence to get out but can if she wanted.  Peaches needs to be in a home with another dog to work out all her energy.  She loves to be outside in the yard and will stay out for long periods of time running and playing with Daisy.  So if you don't have any dogs and are interested in Peaches and would consider adopting her foster sister Daisy, trust me you won't be sorry.  Please consider keeping these two sisters together so they can live in their forever home together.

I was able to spend much time with Peaches and my other fosters over the holiday.  Peaches spent some time with an 8 week old puppy and did great.  She wasn't rough and played and taught her things like her mom would do.  Peaches needs to be in a home with a high fence.  She can jump higher than a 4 foot fence without much effort.  I don't think she realizes she can take the fence.  Peaches loves to be outside and playing.  She loves to play with the other dogs and will stay out all day if you let her.  She even stays outside by herself in the cold.  I feel Peaches would do best in a home with another dog.  She really likes to play with the dogs and being so young I think she would be lonely without another dog.  Peaches is very gentle and being that she was so good with the puppy and did well by my neighbor's kids, I think she would do fine with kids and would love all the attention.  Peaches did sleep in the bed at my mom's with the other dogs and settled quickly and did well.  Peaches has the softest fur and is such a regal looking dog.  She is a very striking dog when you see her.  Peaches has met my cats and does pretty good with them.  She will still chase them if she sees another dog running after them but if it is only her, she is pretty calm with them.  If you have a yard with a high fence, can give Peaches lots of attention with another dog and possibly kids to play with, then Peaches may be a fit for you.  If you think Peaches will fit into your family, please submit your application so she can have her forever home.

I picked up Peaches on Saturday and she was the perfect girl on the ride home.  Peaches is a beautiful fawn girl with the softest fur.  She met my dogs quickly and is doing good with the cats so far.  She loves to lick them but has to realize that she can't put her big paw on the cats like she does with the dogs.  She has long legs and loves to play like any puppy would.  She will soon meet my neighbor's children and I believe there will be no problems.  Peaches is a very gentle loving girl who lets you know when she has to go to the bathroom when she is in the cage at night no matter what time it is.  We are working on her letting me know when she has to go to the bathroom when she is free in the house.  Peaches knows how to sit and we are working on other commands.  Peaches will need someone home during the day to continue her training during her puppy stages.  Peaches would do well in a home with another dog to play with and some children would be a great added bonus to play with her.  If you think you can give Peaches the time she needs and will fit into your family life style then please submit your application so Peaches can find her forever home.
