My Story

Jameson is doing great and is a big part of our family. He is very protective of us and tends to get very excited and sometimes a little aggressive on his lead,I believe that's deffinately from his past ,sometimes it's hard to walk him especially if I have the kids with me.He's great with the kids,as you can see from the photo with my daughter, she put pink bows on his ears lol. He's a good boy but not so good with strangers when he first meets them. When we adopted Jameson we were told he was about 2 but our vet told us he was more like 6,that was very disappointing for us as we really wanted our kids to grow up with him and know he won't live as long as we had hoped. He's a strong boy that enjoyes his walks and runs and deffinately loves attention and playing ball.We are very happy we rescued Jameson.

Jameson has brought a lot of joy to our lives,it's like having a third child sometimes but in a good way.I grew up in Ireland with boxers as a child so I love these dogs, they are very needy but also very loving. He loves to be center of attention and deffinately thinks he's king of the yard when we are outside playing with him..We would love to know he's complete history as we are a little weary when it comes to bringing him around other people or dogs. When we adopted him we were to.d he was around 2 yrs old but our vet told us he was more like 6 ,which is heart breaking for us because we wanted our kids to grow up with Jameson,we fell that he's too old to train new new things to him.

Hi all Jameson here!  My foster mom said that I could write a quick update to let you know how I was doing.  I have made myself right at home at my new place, I have a big soft bed and tons of toys and some foster brothers and a sister.  I am getting along well with everyone that I've met the other fur kids and the people too.  My FM calls me Tigger sometimes because I enjoy jumping so high and I have a ton of energy!  After I have some good playtime I enjoy cuddling with my FM and FD and they say that I snore really loud.  I'm not sure that I believe them but that’s what they say.

Thanks for checking in with me out there, I just wanted you to know that I'm happy here and all but I'm looking for a forever home to love me always.  My perfect home would give me tons of love, walks, snacks and treats and of course my very own big fluffy bed to sleep in.  Please consider me for your next family member!

Love,
Jameson

ameson is a very sweet approximately 2 year old male that came to us from a shelter in Adams County, PA after being surrendered at the request of animal control.  He was severely malnourished and in need of some TLC.  We are very pleased to say that he has improved by leaps and bounds, as you can see from his updated pictures.  At our vet appointment this morning, the vet said he only needs to gain about 3 to 5 additional pounds to be back up to par.  He arrived last night and it settling in nicely.  The information that we received from the shelter manager is that he is good with everything and everyone and is just a love bug!  I would have to agree whole heartedly.  He already knows several commands, sit, stay, and lay down and is great in the crate.  Jameson’s leash manners need some work but overall he is doing great so far.  He has come such a long way since last the being of March.  He is looking for a forever home that will love him and treat him like the prince that he is, could that be your home?  Get your applications in fast because he won't be around for long.
