My Story

05/21/2013

Louie continues to be an absolute doll.  His personality keeps coming out more and more.  He and Tiffany play together quite a bit.  We've been taking him out to different places and he's always a perfect gentleman.  He recently completed Basic Manners class.

Hello Everyone!  I have so much to tell you about Louie.  Louie's feet are fine now and he's well and doing great.  He's ready for his new home.  While I was on vacation and sick for a while I had alot of time to spend with my fosters.  My mom got a puppy for Christmas and Louie was fantastic with the puppy.  He was so good I was going to call him "Mr. Mom" but since he did so well in watching the puppy with many other dogs in the house we decided to call him " The Godfather".  Louie would watch the puppy playing with all the other dogs and when he thought she was getting in over her head, he would quietly go over there & gently push her away and bring her over to him where he could watch her.  He really was like the uncle that watches over you.  The kind where you nothing bad could happen to you  :)
Louie LOVES to sleep and is great for those days you want to stay in bed.  He is very spoiled and has slept with me since he first came.  So who ever adopts him, he will be looking to sleep with you.  I call Louie the "Prince" because while I was home the others would be eating and he would still be upstairs sleeping.  When he finally decided to grace us with his presence, he would come down to eat and then be right on the chair with me.  Louie gets very attached and wants to be with you all the time.  This is why I think he would do best in a home where he is with someone alot.  Louie is a very good boy and gets along with cats, dogs and would do fine with children.  He is a very loving boy who NEEDS love.  If you think you can give this unconditional love to Louie, please submit your application so we can find the best forever home for him.

I received Louie on Saturday November 3, 2012.  He is such a loving boy that gets along fine with cats, dogs and young kids.  He met a little girl in the vet about 4 and was very polite and gave her kisses the entire time.  Louie has been around multiple dogs and has had no problems whatsoever.  I must say Louie is very spoiled, he has been sleeping with me at night and does great.  Once he's down for the night, he's out no matter how many times you get up he stays in bed sleeping.  He also loves to sleep in late :)  When I'm not home Louie stays in a Varikennel but as soon as I get home he's out.  He hasn't had any accidents in the house and takes food very well.  Louie is currently on antibiotics for his foot but other than that he is doing great.  Louie gets very attached to you so I think he would do best in a home with kids to play with or other dogs for company.  He would absolutely love if he had someone who worked from home or a stay at home parent.  We are working on commands but overall he is great!  I don't think it will be long before Louie finds his forever home, he has great qualities along with a loving personality that you couldn't pass him up.  If you think you can give Louie the best life he deserves, then send in your application so we can review it.  Until then, Louie wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
