My Story

Viper is doing great. He plays with his sister Peggy and loves to have visits from his boxer family members. Viper loves to eat ice cubes at night as a treat on the bed with his mom. Viper is living the life. He can sleep or play all day, gets his treats and hangs out on the bed whenever he wants. Viper is full of love and energy. He is a joy to have in the family.

Vivacious, unique, loving, gentle, playful, striking…Are just some of the words that describe Viper.  He is such a sweet dog that loves to run and play with my resident boxers.  Viper needs a yard and a playmate for all his puppy energy.  Like most boxers, he loves attention and affection.  He always has to sit right next to me and because he is so cute, I wouldn't have it any other way.

We went to the vet last week and he needs to put on about 10 pounds.  He is eating three meals a day until he puts a little meat on his bones.  While at the vet, he met a boxer friend and did great with all the dogs in the waiting room.  He also had the vet and the people in the waiting room in LOVE with him.  I was handing out so many cards to people that were interested in adopting Viper.  Trust me…when you see Viper, you will not be disappointed!!!!  So act now and put your applications in because I don't think this boxer beauty will last long.

Viper is doing well with my resident boxers.  He likes to play and will stick to you like glue when I'm in the chair.  He loves to come up and sit right next to you, no matter how small the space is, he will fit in.  He still will chase the cat wanting to play but not hurt the cat.  For this reason he has not been upstairs and slept with me in the bed due to the cats.  Just by the way he is in the recliner, I know he would love the bed.  Viper will have new pictures up shortly to show how beautiful he is.  When you see him you can't help but to fall in love with him.  He really is marked differently, his face makes him stand out even more along with his beautiful brindle markings.  When you see Viper, you will not forget him.  He is very loveable and will make someone very, very happy!  So don't wait - put in your applications, you won't be sorry!

On Saturday I picked up this beautiful boy and when you see him, he is very striking.  His brindle is very pronounced and his face is very special.  On one side it's a beautiful brindle, and then when he turns his face the other side is white with a touch of brown.  His face reminds me of mask for the drama club…Half black & half white.  He is good-natured and acts very much like the puppy he is.  He has a lot of energy and we have to work on some manners.  He gets along with cats but doesn't realize not to chase or rush in on them.  My one cat has been very good with him until he gets so excited and puts his big paw on top of her.  My cats are wondering who the heck is this big thing chasing us?  They are used to my guys who are more calm with them.  I know in time I will be able to teach him not to rush the cats.  This morning he met my female, senior boxer and did well.  Tonight I will try to introduce him to one of my other male boxers, depending on how excited the new pup is.

He will come up and sit on you like he is a small lap dog.  I have to say it is very cute how he thinks he can fit anywhere.  For his size, he does get up quite well and is not heavy at all.  He will win you over very quickly.
