My Story

09/17/2016

Hi Everyone!! My name is Maggie and I arrived in rescue about 2 weeks ago.  My foster mom says that I am really smart and I am learning new things every day!  I have learned to sit and wait in my crate while foster mom opens the door and I try really hard to stay sitting until she tells me it's ok to come out.  She says that I am doing a good job with that skill so I am pretty darned proud of myself since I didn't know anything much before I got here.  I have learned to sleep in my crate all night quietly and even go into it during the day when it's nap time.  There are a lot of dogs here so sometimes, I do have to stop playing and hang out there for a bit.   I would rather be playing so foster mom gives me a great treat and some toys in my crate to make it a great place to be.  I am learning to go in more willingly now!  I do play very nicely with the other dogs and it's so nice to have playmates to help me run off my puppy exhuberance lol  Foster mom says that is why she thinks I should have a new doggie brother in my new home.  I would be very lonely without a doggie friend to play with and then, I might get into mischief.  I will write again very soon but get your application in if you think you would like to have me come and live with you.
