My Story

09/18/2016

Scarlet and her sister went to the vet on Thursday.  They were such good girls! The vet did note that they are healthy puppies and did examine their affected skin.  He felt tht the limited areas of scar tissue on their backs would not grow hair.  However, this condition will not worsen over the course of time.  He did mention that an adopter could consider cosmetic surgery if they wanted to go that route...But as their foster mom, I don't even notice it anymore.  Their personalities far outshine their skin scars and they are such good puppies.  Their "potty" training is coming alone wonderfully! Their crate blankets have been dry in the morning and they go right outside through three rooms without an accident.  They are very happy!  They play, play, play...then eat, go out, nap...repeat.  Very easy, delightful little gals!  Will update again soon since puppies learn so quickly.  In fact, they are starting to learn their names!

Looking for me?  My name is Scarlet and my sister and I are looking for you!  You could be a "furever" home for one of us!  Foster mom says that I am very personable and love to give kisses! Of course I love to play with Sophia and all the toys that are here. Sophia and I have met two of the resident dogs at our foster home and we are having fun with them.  Especially Tootsie who acts like our mom.  She helps foster mom by making sure we don't get into any trouble.  At the breeder when four weeks old, we decided to explore outside on our own.  We exited the doggie door which came down and scraped our skin.  So, off to the vet we went.  We are better now, were released to rescue, and I must say, we are enjoying our stay!  We are going to the vet for our first round of shots this week and must stay in rescue at least a month but get your application in if you are interested in an adorable, sweet puppy! Foster mom will be updating soon and we will be looking for you!
